Lesson Task: The Earth's Atmosphere

My Design Process with Ryan Yue

Step 1 - Sketching

Used 11 sketches on paper to capture different parts of the information.

Step 2 –Preliminary design

Decided to use one slide instead of 10 to represent all the information.

Step 3 – Final design

Made further discussion to refine the preliminary design for final presentation.

Also, I noticed that you have changed some of the "hot" and "cold" symbols too! I too hated the "symbols" on mine, as while they are descriptive and easy-to-understand, they make little sense (with no water vapor, how can we have snow flakes?). Anyway, I spent some time looking for a better "symbol," couldn't find one, so I leave it as such. Thanks for showing me an alternative (and better) way of showing "hot" and "cold".

We had thought about the "hot" and "cold" symbols for some time before coming up with those that most of us can understand.
