Your question is broad. Can you narrow it down?

May be to ask something like, "What are the key challenges presented education in HK given the advancement of technology and increased globalization?" Actually it would be good if we all put forward some question.

I think the first thing we have to do is to release teachers' burden.

Do you mean something like giving less homework to students?

Sort of! Teachers are always under the pressure of being responsible for students’ academic achievement. Exam-geared curriculum accompanied with the new assessment tool - TSA now, and the uncertainties of Liberal Studies that students are facing with, teachers have been exhausted to push their students to the battlefield.

Dear Daniel,
I think we need to slow down the "Curriculum Reform" first and HK government should give more resources to support schools like more teaching staff, less lessons,

Yes, guys, I agree with this. I get to hear a lot of stories about teahcers in HK school (my wife teacher in a HK school). But are these issues really bariers to future of Hong Kong?

I believe one of the barriers of HK education is that the government is still not willing to implement "small-class" teaching on a national scale.

The government talks very much on quality education. But how can this be achieved when the teacher is expected to manage over 40 students in one class when the rest of the world are managing less than 30?

Any classmates who are from the EMB would like to respond to my opinion?
